Ali Azary
I’m an artist from Iran. Years of living abroad—moving between cultures, languages, and people—have shaped how I see life: caught between belonging and solitude, presence and distance. I’ve been painting for over a decade, and through my paintings I explore ideas like memory, mortality, and the quiet weight of a passing existence. My paintings offer no fixed resolution; Some paintings hint at a story left unfinished; others simply hold a feeling, a scene, a stillness. Either way, what matters most to me is the impression they leave—something felt before it needs to be explained.
